In honour of Louise Price’s unwavering commitment to Taunton Concert Band, the
Louise Price Memorial Award is presented annually to an individual whose
contributions to Taunton Concert Band embody Louise’s dedication, compassion, and
musical spirit.
Louise was known for her tireless efforts to support Taunton Concert Band, whether
by her commitment to rehearsals and concerts, volunteering her time with the
committee or advocating for Taunton Concert Band members. Her compassion was
evident in every piece she played, and her legacy continues to inspire those who
follow in her footsteps.
The recipient of this award will be an individual who has made significant
contributions to Taunton Concert Band, exemplifying kindness and a deep
commitment to rehearsals and concerts. The recipient must have demonstrated
selflessness in their actions and a passion for creating wonderful music.
The award is voted for by other members of Taunton Concert Band and will be
presented during the annual Easter Concert. Nominations are open to all members,
and we encourage individuals who have gone above and beyond in their service to be
considered for this prestigious honour.
