Taunton Concert Band presented a delightful evening of music in the Tacchi- Morris Arts Centre! It was great for the training band to get a chance to shine in front of an appreciative audience, and the main band tackling Lincolnshire Posy is always a treat. Weber’s Clarinet Concerto, the trombone trio “Toledo,” and “Ashoken Farewell” are all fantastic pieces showcasing different talents within the band. And how charming is the “One Finger Polka” as a showstopper! Emily Veron singing Rutter’s “Pie Jesu” also added a beautiful and moving element to the concert. What a wonderful way to celebrate spring with music!
